Having a strong focus on human-centred design, Daniel has a proven track record in applying robust Human Factors methods in the design process and integrating user requirements in to safety systems to deliver safe, usable products.
Daniel started his Human Factors career in the UK defence industry, gaining experience on complex air defence systems and integrating his practice with model-based systems engineering methods. He has also been involved with the development of wearable technology and connected devices for the medical and sports industries. More recently, Daniel has worked in the rail industry on Traffic Management, In-Cab CCTV Driver Only Operation, re-signalling programmes and SCADA Electrical Control Systems.
