Specialising in Human Factors Integration and incident investigation, Miranda has significant experience in leading HF activities on continuous improvement programs for the development of operational capability and investigative processes.

In addition to being a capable project manager, Miranda also has demonstrated expertise in designing and facilitating human factors, accident analysis, systems safety and non-technical skills training, and has been responsible for providing training to a range of personnel, including accident investigators and healthcare professionals.

With a strong background in research and analytical problem solving, Miranda’s work is focused on learning from past events to continuously improve how people, technology, organisations and the environment work together in the complexity of the real world. Miranda holds a PhD in human factors and accident research from Monash University and an MSc in Work and Organisational Psychology and BSc in Cognitive Psychology from Maastricht University, the Netherlands.
