Acmena welcomes Lachlan Martin to its Brisbane office.
Specialising in systems engineering and safety assurance, Lachlan is a highly versatile and capable engineer with seven years’ industry experience.
Having supported the development and deployment of high-integrity systems for aerospace and defence applications, Lachlan offers demonstrated experience in the full systems engineering lifecycle. He has also led and supported verification and validation activities for several projects and has experience in authoring and executing test procedures, in addition to engineering analysis and developing change proposals.
Lachlan also offers capability in safety with proficiency in system safety and hazard analysis in addition to RAM.
On his appointment to the position of consultant, Lachlan said: “Earlier this year I took some time to reflect and came away knowing I needed to work on something I could be proud of.
“For me that quickly narrowed to three things: rail, renewables, or space. I’m very proud to join Acmena and be able to contribute to the local rail industry.
“They have a very knowledgeable team here in Brisbane, so I am looking forward to learning from them and growing as an engineer.”
“I am really pleased to welcome Lachlan to the team,” Acmena Queensland State Manager, Andrew Gabler said.
“With his skills and experience, I am sure he will make a great addition to our team supporting the Unity Alliance on the Cross River Rail – Rail, Integration and Systems package.
“He will be making a valuable contribution to the project by helping to deliver systems engineering and assurance activities for the upgraded surface stations. We are all looking forward to working with him and supporting him in this next phase of his career.”
