Acmena has strengthened its systems and safety assurance capability with the appointment of Sandra Gadd as a rail safety consultant in its Sydney office.
Sandra specialises in risk and safety management with over 11 years of experience in the Australian rail, transport and infrastructure sectors. She has led and supported the delivery of safety assurance programs across a range of complex, safety-critical projects featuring the construction of stations, rollingstock, roads and infrastructure.
Sandra brings significant expertise in system safety, including safety case development, hazard analysis and SFAIRP compliance. She also offers valuable experience navigating assurance processes and regulatory frameworks specific to New South Wales projects. “I’m excited to be returning to consulting and working for a socially responsible company with values that align with mine,” Sandra said. “I am especially looking forward to the flexibility and diversity of project work and expanding my skills into the training space.”
“It’s a pleasure to welcome Sandra to the NSW team,” said NSW State Manager, Christophe Waterplas. “Her expertise will be a great asset to our team, and her experience invaluable as we continue to deliver high‑quality systems and safety assurance for our clients.”
