The NSW branch of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society of Australia is hosting a knowledge sharing seminar on the applications of virtual reality for human factors in transport and healthcare in Sydney on 5 June.
Sponsored by Acmena, the event will feature a presentation from Principal HF Consultant, Grace Kennedy, who will share her experiences leading HF VR projects for infrastructure design and operations.
Grace’s presentation will showcase the benefits of using VR to more efficiently integrate human factors into the design and evaluation process, using a recent Acmena project to trial pedestrian level crossing designs as a real-world case study.
Vantari VR National Business Development Manager, Tina van Weelderen, will be also be presenting on the use of VR in the healthcare industry.
