Acmena is delighted to welcome business development and sales specialist, Jamie McDyre, to the team.

Jamie is a highly regarded business and engineering leader with over 25 years’ experience in engineering, sales and management within the Australian rail industry.

Previously responsible for business development within several different businesses, Jamie has led the bid process for various rail infrastructure projects across Australia and New Zealand. Jamie has also held overall profit and loss responsibility for the design, sales, manufacture, and support of all safety-critical products across the Asia Pacific region for a major multinational.

His experience and business acumen make him the ideal choice to support Acmena’s business development and sales processes as we look to expand and diversify our interests both in rail and other sectors.

Working with Business Development Manager, Nicolas Teulier, Jamie will be a valuable asset in strengthening relationships with existing clients and forging new industry partnerships.

“I am really excited to welcome Jamie onboard,” Nicolas said. “It will be fantastic to have an asset like him operating both in Victoria, with so many exciting things happening in the state, and across the country.”

Commenting on his appointment, Jamie said: “I am thrilled to be joining Acmena and helping the team with business development activities.

“I have worked alongside Acmena for many years and have always been impressed by the talent and expertise of their people – they truly have some of the real guns in the industry. I am looking forward to working more closely with them.

“Victoria is such an exciting place with the next stage of the “Big Build” program kicking in, plus the Southern Rail Loop, Airport Rail, and the Sunshine Superhub all getting underway.

“There is also a lot of BAU work going on in our suburban, regional, and tram networks. Equally, I’ve been so impressed by the amazing work being delivered through some of the smaller rail suppliers in these areas, where their agility and innovative spirit are solving problems that have been plaguing the industry for years. There are so many opportunities for companies like these to add value to the travelling public in Victoria.”
