Acmena is delighted to announce the appointment of Ian Banks to the position of Victoria State Manager and Principal Consultant.

As State Manager, Ian is responsible for the business development and operational management of Acmena’s Victoria office and its multi-discipline team of consultants.

A proven technical leader with a pragmatic, solution-driven approach, Ian offers in-depth knowledge and expertise in the Victorian rail sector, having successfully managed and developed human factors programs for several major state rail projects, including High-Capacity Metro Train (HCMT), Metro Tunnel Project, Inland Rail and the Mt. Derrimut Level Crossing Removal Project.

A specialist in human factors and safety management, Ian has over 12 years’ experience in providing critical support for technically demanding change projects with demonstrated ability in HF integration planning and management, HF requirements management and analysis, user-centred design and human-machine interface assessment. He also specialises in providing training needs analysis in addition to both HF and non-technical skills training.

Ian is an excellent addition to the Acmena management team and we are very excited to have him onboard.
