Acmena is delighted to announce the appointment of Nicolas Teulier and Mike Bruce to the board of directors.
Specialising in systems engineering, Nicolas joined the company in 2015 before being appointed as New South Wales State manager and IBM Product Manager, where he had had extensive involvement in developing technical and business solutions for major rail and infrastructure projects.
After successfully expanding Acmena’s interests in addition to leading the systems engineering program on a major NSW rail transformation project, Nicolas was appointed as Business Development Manager in 2022 where his technical expertise and ability to understand the client’s needs made him ideally suited to the role.
A highly accomplished systems engineer and engineering manager with experience in the delivery of major rail infrastructure and technology projects, Mike joined Acmena in 2018 as a Principal Systems Engineer and Queensland State Manager where he was responsible for operational and business development within the state.
In 2020, Mike was appointed General Manager where he assumed overall responsibility for company-wide operations across the Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne offices, in addition to developing and implementing business plans and targets.
As a company, Acmena is dedicated to providing its team with meaningful professional development opportunities and has been thrilled to see both Mike and Nico’s progression towards becoming directors.
Not only is their appointment to the board recognition of their unwavering dedication to the company, its staff and its clients, but it is also a fundamental part of Acmena’s strategic plan to ensure the long-term sustainability and growth of the business.
As founding directors of Acmena Katherine, Graeme and I have been working towards this next step in our strategic plan for a while. It has been a pleasure to work alongside Nico and Mike since they became part of our senior management team, and so it was an obvious and natural progression for us. We are excited for this next phase of Acmena’s future.
Going forward, Mike will be Managing Director, while Nico is now Executive Director of Business Development.
