She specialises in human factors integration, ergonomics assessment and research, human-centred design, driver behaviour analysis, workload and task analysis and workplace design. She also has broad safety management capability including risk assessment, risk-based training needs analysis, hazard analysis, incident investigation, and safety auditing — with specific experience on Automatic Train Protection (ATP) and European Train Control System (ETCS) projects.

At Acmena, Inga has provided human factors specialist support on Sydney Metro Western Sydney Airport, where she integrated human-centred design principles into station and systems design for the SMEC/Arup Design Joint Venture. She was also engaged as a human factors specialist on the Transport for NSW Digital Systems Program where she was responsible for managing the HF issues register in IBM DOORS Next and supporting end-user and union engagement. Inga is currently engaged on the Cross River Rail – RIS Delivery Works package.

Earlier in her career, Inga served as a Human Factors and Railway Safety Inspector at the South Australian Railway Safety Regulator, conducting safety audits, investigations, and technical reviews of rail systems and equipment for compliance with human factors railway safety standards. She also spent four years at Transnet Freight Rail in South Africa, providing human factors inputs to national rolling stock design programs and leading the reconfiguration of train control centre workstations for centralised train control.
