With 14 years’ international experience across major metro projects in Australia, Vietnam, Dubai, India, and Qatar, Pravin has demonstrated capability in leading and developing key RAMS and systems assurance deliverables to CENELEC standards including EN 50126, EN 50128, and EN 50129.

His technical expertise covers safety case development, RAMS plans and analysis, hazard analysis and log management, interface hazard management, SIL assessment, FMECA, FTA, FHA, DRACAS/FRACAS, verification and validation, and Goal Structured Notation (GSN).

At Acmena, Pravin has supported an extensive range of Australian rail programs. He has led Independent Validation activities on both Cross River Rail – RIS and the Logan to Gold Coast Faster Rail rail package, served as Safety Manager on the Yarra Trams B2 Tram Traction Upgrade, acted as Safety Assurance Advisor on multiple Metro Trains Melbourne projects , supported tendering safety activities for the Suburban Connect SRL East bid, and provided safety engineering for the Coomera Connector interface works.

Before joining Acmena, Pravin spent three years at Hitachi Rail in Vietnam as Lead Systems Assurance Engineer on the Ho Chi Minh City Urban Rail Line 1 project, managing RAMS implementation across all subsystems — signalling, rolling stock, power supply, platform screen doors, SCADA, telecoms, and tunnel ventilation — and earlier held RAMS engineering roles on the Dubai Expo 2020 Route 2020 Metro, Doha Metro Phase 1, and metro projects in India.
