Congratulations to Acmena Principal Consultant, Dan Munoz, on obtaining a Master’s Certification in Enterprise Configuration Management.
Delivered by US-based training provider CMPIC, Dan spent six weeks burning the midnight oil in order to complete the course.
While it may have cost him some sleep, attending the course was definitely worth the sacrifice.
“It’s been an incredibly insightful six weeks,” Dan said. “The program provided a deep dive into configuration management practices across various CM standards, including the global consensus standard EIA 649.
“What made this experience truly invaluable was the opportunity to connect and discuss with like-minded professionals, primarily from the US defence and aerospace sectors, where configuration management is applied with rigor.
“With the increasing focus on quality and standards in Australia’s large infrastructure projects, I’m confident that these advanced skills will enable me to effectively apply configuration management, adding significant value to projects right here in Australia.”
“Dan’s commitment to developing himself and others as our head of discipline never ceases to amaze me,” Acmena General Manager, Mike Bruce, said.
“The fact that he managed to gain another qualification while leading systems engineering on the Cross River Rail – Rail, Tunnels and Station package is truly impressive.
“We have noticed an increasing need and demand for expertise in change management, which is a field that is often misunderstood and causes expensive problems on projects.
With Dan having acquired advanced skills in the field, we will be able to strengthen the level of support we can provide clients in configuration management.”
