A very warm welcome to Acmena’s newest engineering intern – Caitlin Blakeney!
We are thrilled to welcome Caitlin to the team.
Currently in her third year of bachelor’s degrees in electrical engineering and genetics at The University of Queensland, Caitlin’s enthusiasm and dedication make her a fantastic addition to the Queensland team.
Over the next few months, Caitlin will be working alongside our systems engineering and systems and safety assurance teams, gaining hands on experience supporting the Tunnels, Stations and Development package of the Cross River Rail project.
“I’m thrilled to join Acmena as an engineering intern,” Caitlin said. “I’m eager to learn from experienced engineers and contribute to meaningful projects.
“I’m especially looking forward to discovering what it’s really like to be an engineer and to start building the skills that will shape my future in the field.”
“It is a pleasure to welcome Caitlin to the team,” Acmena Queensland State Manager, Andrew Gabler, said. “I am excited to be able to introduce her to systems engineering and safety assurance and am looking forward for her help delivering Cross River Rail.”
At Acmena, we believe in growing capability from the ground up — helping emerging talent develop the skills, mindset and confidence they need to thrive in complex projects.
We are very excited to see what Caitlin achieves during her time with us.
Welcome aboard, Caitlin!
