Acmena Human Factors Intern, Yan Yan, will be presenting at the 2025 ANZSASI Annual Seminar held in Sydney on 30 May - 1 June.
Hosted by the University of NSW School of Aviation, the seminar is a joint initiative of the Australian and New Zealand Societies of Air Safety Investigators and will feature presentations from a range of air safety experts on key issues and incidents, including the Seaworld helicopter collision.
Specialising in aviation psychology, accident analysis and safety management, Yan is in the final stages of completing a PhD analysing runway incursions from a human factors perspective, which she will be presenting at the seminar.
“We are so proud to see Yan share the stage with experts in the field of air safety and present insights from her PhD,” said Acmena NSW State Manager, Nicolas Teulier. “It’s always a pleasure to work with young, motivated professionals like Yan. Since joining us she has done some great work on the Digital Systems Program and is now supporting the Cross River Rail project in Brisbane, where her knowledge, enthusiasm and dedication makes her a fantastic addition to the team.”
