He brings a strong combination of systems engineering rigour, modelling and simulation expertise, and practical software automation skills that make him particularly effective in technically demanding, multi-discipline project environments.

Daniel offers strong capability in requirements management and traceability using IBM DOORS Next, systems architecture design using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and IBM Rational Rhapsody, and verification and validation. He also has expertise in Python scripting — developing automation scripts to synchronise data across IBM DOORS, TeamBinder, Microsoft Office and Hexagon to reduce manual effort and improve data integrity.

Daniel has previously supported the full lifecycle design, development and testing of advanced weapons systems in the UK. His work encompassed functional architecture design using MBSE, V&V processes using IBM Rhapsody, DOORS and Engineering Test Manager, in-field trials of safety-critical sub-systems, and a multi-criteria MATLAB-based simulation study to evaluate novel communication technologies.

His experience across two highly regulated, safety-critical industries, and his combination of analytical rigour, proficiency with engineering tools and collaborative working style positions him well for complex rail systems engineering environments.

Daniel is currently providing systems engineering, assurance and V&V support to the Cross River Rail – Tunnels, Stations and Development package.
