A proven technical leader with a pragmatic, solution-driven approach, Ian offers in-depth knowledge and expertise in the Victorian rail sector, having managed HF integration teams at both MTM and V/Line and successfully managed and developed human factors programs for several major state rail projects, including High-Capacity Metro Train (HCMT), Metro Tunnel Project, Inland Rail and the Mt. Derrimut Level Crossing Removal Project.

Ian also has extensive business, team and stakeholder management experience with a focus on building collaborative working environments within complex, technically demanding change projects.

A specialist in human factors and safety management, Ian has over 12 years’ experience in providing critical support for technically complex change projects with demonstrated ability in HF integration planning and management, HF requirements management and analysis, user-centred design and human-machine interface assessment. He also specialises in providing training needs analysis in addition to both HF and non-technical skills training.
