Mitchell is highly proficient in IBM Engineering Requirements Management DOORS and DOORS Next, with hands‑on experience in database administration, DXL scripting for custom metrics and reporting, requirements workflow management, user onboarding and training, and the configuration and migration of DOORS environments. He brings the depth of expertise and experience needed to establish, maintain and improve requirements management frameworks on complex, multi-stakeholder programs.
In verification and validation, Mitchell offers expertise in the development and execution of system test procedures, verification planning, change impact assessment against functional and product baselines, and system test and evaluation activities — including field trial demonstrations of system prototypes. His modelling capability spans SysML in Enterprise Architect, with experience in requirements and block diagramming to support systems architecture development, complemented by requirements engineering in Microsoft DevOps.
Currently providing V&V support to the Cross River Rail project, Mitchell’s portfolio spans a diverse range of safety-critical programs, including tactical communications systems and digitally integrated supply chain and autonomous fleet solutions for the defence sector.
